It was a stunning piece of movie hardware that I don't think the movie it was in lived up to.
Admittedly, I'm spoiled by having read Ian Fleming's original first, but seriously? Musical with childcatcher subplot and music box doll scene as opposed to a book that had a freakin' pirate cave and the like? Which one would really have appealed to kids more?
